Bruce Parramore
Bruce Parramore is a Belgian-American film director, living in Oslo, Norway. He grew up in Beirut and Iran. He is a US Citizen and a permanent resident of Norway since 1982.
He is an international film director who has worked in more than 23 countries. His first short film “Zenith” (Norway 2004) was selected for the highly selective Berlin Film Festival and won the Grand Prix in Trevignano, in addition to winning awards elsewhere. His feature film “Love & Dance” (Poland 2009), a Polish musical feature film was a “blockbuster” and received the “Public Gold Award”. It is the fourth most watched film in the history of Polish films. He directed 9 episodes for the Polish TV series “The Dancers” based on Alan Parker’s “FAME”.
After working on personal film projects, in 2022 Bruce returned to direct commercials finishing 3 projects in the last 6 months.
Alongside, he has worked as a 2nd unit Action director for number of Norwegian and Swedish feature films. Bruce has directed commercials since the mid-90s, won numerous international awards, and worked with a wide variety of international and local clients across world. He is also a screenwriter, a skilled painter and cartoonist, and draws heavily on this background in his film work.
