Emilie Ullerup, born in Denmark, has always harbored a deep ambition to pursue a career in acting. Her journey in the world of entertainment began after she graduated from high school in Copenhagen in 2002, when she made the bold decision to relocate to Vancouver, Canada, to chase her dream. There, she honed her acting skills by studying at the Vancouver Film School and successfully graduated in 2005.
Emilie’s debut in the entertainment industry came with the role of Julia Prynne in the renowned sci-fi TV series “Battlestar Galactica” in 2004. This marked the start of her remarkable career, and she continued to make her mark with her portrayal of Sandra in the first episode of “Blood Ties” in 2006. Her breakthrough came when she became one of the central figures in the groundbreaking series “Sanctuary” (2008), where she starred alongside Amanda Tapping.
Emilie’s recent accomplishments include her role in the beloved Hallmark show “Chesapeake Shores,” where she played a significant part in its successful six-season run. Notably, the show has gained international acclaim on Netflix, consistently ranking among the top 10. In addition to this, she captivated audiences with her season-long arc in the fan-favorite series “Motherland,” which aired on Freeform and Hulu. She also took on a lead role as Alyssa Milano’s sister in the Netflix film “Brazen,” produced by Peter Guber.
Before these recent achievements, Emilie shared the screen with Kevin James in the film “True Memoirs of an International Assassin.” This came on the heels of her three-year stint in the Canadian series “Arctic Air.” However, it was her role in the SYFY series “Sanctuary” that truly propelled her to stardom, cultivating a devoted cult following and fan base.
Emilie’s talents have also graced other notable series, including Means War and Life on The Line.
