Lise Baastrup is a versatile Danish actress whose charisma, talent, and dedication have captivated audiences for over 15 years, establishing her as a leading figure in Danish theatre, film, and television.
Since graduating from The Danish National School of Performing Arts in 2010, Lise has earned numerous awards and nominations, including the prestigious Danish Robert Award.
Her notable credits include starring roles in “Hjørdis” and “Rita” on Netflix, “Orkestret,” and the improvisational comedy show “Rundt på gulvet” on DR (Danish Broadcasting Corporation). On stage, she has delivered unforgettable performances as Sally Bowles in “Cabaret,” Lady of the Lake in “Spamalot,” Aileen Wuornos in “Monster,” Annie in “Misery,” and iconic roles such as “Snedronningen” and “Den glade enke”, in addition to her three-year tenure with Cirkusrevyen.
In addition to her acting prowess, Lise is a gifted singer, contributing her voice to the title theme of Netflix’s “Hjørdis.” Lise’s special skills also include composing, voice acting (dubbing), improvisation and improv theatre, hosting and presenting, stunt work, yoga, boxing, horseback riding, swimming, crossfit, and dancing (both standard and Latin).
