Helena Christensen has possibly had one of the most diverse careers available within the modelling industry and after more than 20 years in the business Helena continues to be one of the most in-demand and respected models in the industry.
Besides her modelling career Helena is also a professional photographer, among others she has worked for Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Dazed and Confused, Jalouse, Sony Erichsson, Carlsberg and Aveda. Her solo exhibitions have been showcased in Tokyo, Berlin, London, Amsterdam and New York. AND is also known for having helped establish the underground fashion magazine NYLON.
Close to her heart, she also explores and works with her other personal projects such as Chernobyl Children International Project and Doctors without Borders. She recently finished photographing the international campaign for Bono’s ONE project in Africa for the second time.
In 2006 Helena appeared in her first feature film Allegro (directed by Christoffer Boe) as the female lead, starring opposite Ulrich Thomsen.
